Usage
How players actually use the garage.
Storing a car
Drive up to a garage in the car you want to put away. While you're sitting in it, the attendant gets a Store Vehicle option on the target — pick it and the car is tucked away, with its current fuel and condition saved.
You can only store a car you own, and you have to be reasonably close to the garage. If the garage is set to a specific category (say a marina), it'll only take matching vehicles.
Taking one out
Use Open Garage on the attendant. The screen fades and you drop into the showroom — your cars are on the left, the selected one is on the podium in the middle, and its details are on the right. Drag to spin the car, scroll to zoom.
Hit Take Out and the car appears at the garage exit with the keys in your pocket and exactly the fuel and damage it had when you parked it. If one exit point is blocked, it uses the next.
Getting impounded
If your car gets wrecked or you drive it into the water, it's gone from the street and sent to the impound lot (both triggers can be turned off in the config).
Head to the impound ped, open it, and you'll see your impounded cars with a release fee on each — 10% of the car's value by default. Pay it and the car spawns right there.
Logging off with a car out
If you disconnect (or the server restarts) while a car is sitting out in the world, it comes
back where you left it the next time you log in. That's the default. If you'd rather cars stay
physically parked in the world even while you're offline, flip Config.Server.OutVehicle to
'always_present'.
